Around 200 of the Lebanon's most wealthy families have found an escape in Faqra Club

It is also an economic lifeline for more than 200 employees, mostly young students, she told AFP. For its members, it also serves an important purpose. "We don't want to die," Liliane said. "The Lebanese love life. It is our way of resisting."
